Ayurveda’s Miracle Tea

How To Make The Tea…

I make a big big batch of this tea every morning!

I let it cool and I pour it in my water pitcher.  I drink it warm and/or room temperature throughout the day.  It goes with me on the run in my water bottle too!

The simplest, easiest, and quickest way to make this tea is to grab yourself a ​​pre-mixed bag of CCF Tea.  

You can also purchase individual bags of cumin, coriander, and fennel. You’ll just have to measure out equal amounts of each spice for each batch.  If you’re going to drink it every day, (great idea!), the pre-mixed is easiest.

Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel Tea

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds

1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds

4-5 cups water

Heat the water in a stainless steel pot over high heat. Add the seeds. Allow the tea to simmer for 5 – 10 minutes.  Depending on the preferred strength.   Strain out the seeds.  Place the tea in an insulated thermos and sip throughout the day.

You’ll be amazed at how nurturing and healing this simple tea is.  I usually add a squeeze of lemon juice to mine, for added cleansing effect.
